Soldiers of the Cross Youth Rallies
Who we are!
It is a gathering of local Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church Youth Groups from Various churches in Central Florida. Its purpose is to preach the Gospel, to teach the Bible and to enjoy fellowship with young believers of like faith.
When we meet!
It is on the 3rd Friday of the month except for special occasions. (to be announced) We do not meet during the summer or during Christmas break.
What we are trying to accomplish!
Train teens to grow in their faith.
Encourage each other in our daily walk with Christ.
Exalt our Savior in everything we do.
Notice the needs of others; meet and encourage them.
Share the Gospel message to a lost world.
Where we stand!
We only use the King James Bible, traditional music (No Christian rock), and ask that every church help us maintain a dress code that would reflect Biblical separation. (Girls should wear knee length skirts or dresses. No low cut or revealing tops. Boys should be in long pants with shirts that do not have any vulgar or offensive printing.) We do understand that often visiting teenagers and new born Christians will show up in clothing that does not reflect our leading and that sometimes it is due to ignorance, not willful rebellion. We will leave it to each church's leadership to deal with their own kids how they choose. However, we ask that you do your best to support us in this area.
Please remember we are Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Churches and not everyone sees eye to eye, please let's enjoy the fellowship of our brothers and sisters in Christ, and realize that SOTC Rallies is not and will not become a place to criticize others! Our goal is to reach and teach young people to be saved and glorify God in their life; we have them for one night a month. With some prayer, time, love and patience, we hope they will grow in all areas in his/her life.
