Glenn Riggs trusted in Christ on August 4, 1968 in St. Louis, Mo. He accepted the calling to preach on June 29, 1969. He was born on the farm in Marmaduke, Arkansas and married his high school sweetheart Carolyn Booth - the daughter of Van C. Booth, a Baptist preacher. They are parents of three sons and two daughters and have fifteen grandchildren. All are faithful to church, and all three sons and a son-in-law are preachers. Dr. Riggs has pastored for over 40 years and is known for his church building and evangelistic meetings. An early believer in the bus ministry, he has been instrumental in encouraging many others through his preaching and teaching to begin bus ministries in their churches. He is often sought after to preach revivals, conferences, and church growth seminars. In 1989, he and his family moved from Hawaii to Orlando, Fl., to begin Starlight Baptist Church, where they have seen phenomenal growth.

Larry Stephen
Larry and Sylvia Greenway met in Bible college, they married in 1981.
Larry has four children and seven grandchildren. He was raised on a farm in Northeast Arkansas. At the age of six, his mother led him to Christ.
Immediately after graduating high school, he attended a conventional Bible college. Not happy with the liberal teachings, he left after his freshman year. He joined an old fashioned, Bible-Believing, independent, Baptist church in Goshen, Indiana. After serving in the church for six years, he returned to Arkansas and attended Williams Bible College. After receiving his AA degree, he enrolled in Arkansas Bible College, a ministry of Hot Springs Baptist Temple. He served on staff at Hot Springs Baptist Academy as teacher and senior high basketball coach for five years. Sylvia worked in the school as a teacher.
They moved to Florida in 1989 with Pastor Riggs' family to help start Starlight Baptist Church.
Larry serves as the bus director, children's minister, and office manager.

Mike Carringer

Bro. Mike Carringer is an assistant pastor and the youth director. Bro. Mike has attended Starlight since the age of fourteen. He was extremely active in the youth group and in his Christian school. Mike was saved at the age of of eleven and surrendered to preach at age fourteen. In the summer of 1993 he recieved the assurance of his salvation and re-affirmed his call to preach. Mike has been a faithful member of Starlight since 1989 and an assistant pastor and youth director since 1996. Bro. Mike has worked with youth for over ten years. He recieved a BA in Pastoral Studies from Patriot University and is currently working on his masters through Crown College. On October 26, 2002 Mike was married to Christy Dilda of Raliegh, North Carolina; which he proudly states is "God's most wonderful blessing in my Christian Life!"

Tim Jordon

Bro. Tim Jordon trusted Christ as his Savior on June 29th, 1998 and surrendered to preach on February 11, 2001. He was ordained February 15, 2004 by Pastor Riggs at Starlight Baptist Church, and is currently the Staff Evangelist.
Bro. Tim was born in Greenfield Indiana and married his highschool sweetheart, Pam Tyer, in 1978. They have two daughters and one granddaughter.
Tim received a B.A. and M.A. in Evangelism and Missions from Patriot Bible University he completed his doctorate in January 2010. He has written a book titled Where Have All the Soul-Winners Gone.
Bro. Tim thanks the Lord for the opportunity to serve in a church that is a Lighthouse to Central Florida.
